This policy explains what personal information NooB Entertainment (“NooB,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use noobentertainment.com or contact us about a DJ, emcee, photo booth, or lighting service for your event in Hawaiʻi, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what you send us so we can answer you and plan your event, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used only if you accept cookies, we don’t run advertising, and we don’t sell your information.
1. Information we collect
What you give us
- Inquiry, contact, and booking forms. Our forms collect the details you type in, such as your name, email address, phone number, event date, event location, the services you’re interested in, and any message you write.
- Calls, texts, and email. If you call, text, or email us, we keep the messages and the contact details you used.
- Planning and payment details. Once you book, we collect what we need to run your event (for example song requests, timeline, venue contacts) and to handle the written agreement, invoices, and payments. Payments are made through HoneyBook or the payment methods listed in our FAQs, not on this website.
What we collect automatically
- Hosting logs. This site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical request data (such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the time) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Your cookie choice. We store your answer to our cookie banner in your browser (see Cookies).
- Site usage (Google Analytics). If you choose Accept all, Google Analytics records how you use the site: the pages you view, how you arrived (for example from a search or a link), roughly where you are (city or region, not your street address), your device, browser, and screen size, and how long you stay. Google Analytics doesn’t log or store your full IP address. It uses cookies to tell visits apart.
- Third-party form data. If you allow our forms to load, HoneyBook and Google reCAPTCHA (which protects the forms from spam) may collect device and usage information as described below.
This site has no user accounts, newsletter sign-ups, advertising cookies, or social media pixels. Analytics runs only if you accept (see Cookies).
2. How we use information
- To reply to your inquiry, check availability, and prepare a personal quote.
- To prepare, sign, and carry out the agreement for your event, and to send invoices, reminders, and planning details.
- To contact you by phone, text, or email about your inquiry or event.
- To keep the site secure, fix problems, and prevent spam and abuse.
- If you accept analytics, to understand which pages people use and how they find us, so we can improve the site. We don’t use it to show you ads.
- To keep business, tax, and accounting records and to comply with the law.
If you gave us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your inquiry or booking. Message and data rates may apply. Tell us if you’d rather not get texts and we’ll stop.
3. Who we share information with
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-site advertising. We share it only with:
- HoneyBook (privacy policy), the client-management service that powers our forms, agreements, invoices, and payments. Form entries go to HoneyBook.
- Google Analytics (privacy policy), if you accept cookies, to report on how the site is used. Google acts as our service provider for this.
- Google reCAPTCHA (privacy policy), which runs inside HoneyBook’s forms to tell people from bots.
- Vercel (privacy policy), which hosts this website.
- The people who help deliver your event, such as the emcee or crew assigned to it, and your venue or planner when you ask us to coordinate with them.
- Authorities or advisers when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, and in a sale or transfer of our business.
These providers handle information under their own policies. Our Reviews page quotes reviews that were posted publicly on Google, WeddingWire, and Yelp, with the name shown there. Links to those sites, to White Space Studio (the studio that built this website), and to HoneyBook’s booking pages open outside this site, and their privacy practices are theirs.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
When you first visit, a banner asks you to choose Essential only or Accept all. Until you accept, nothing from HoneyBook or Google loads (including Google Analytics), and where a form would be you’ll see our phone and email instead. If you choose Essential only after having accepted, we turn analytics off and delete its cookies. You can change your choice any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
| What | Who | Purpose | Lasts | When it loads |
|---|---|---|---|---|
noob-cookie-consent (browser storage) | NooB (this site) | Remembers your cookie choice. | 12 months | Always. It’s essential and holds no personal details. |
_ga and _ga_RKYV18M9EM | Google Analytics | Tells visits and visitors apart so we can count them and see which pages are used. | Up to 2 years | Only after you choose Accept all. |
| HoneyBook form and tracking pixel | HoneyBook | Shows our inquiry, contact, and booking forms, delivers your entries, and measures use of the forms. | Set by HoneyBook | Only after you choose Accept all. |
| reCAPTCHA | Google, inside HoneyBook’s forms | Blocks spam and abuse. | Set by Google | Only after you choose Accept all. |
The exact cookies HoneyBook and Google set are controlled by them and can change; see their policies above. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though our forms may not work without them. To opt out of Google Analytics on every website, you can install Google’s browser add-on. Our site doesn’t set advertising cookies.
5. How long we keep information
We keep inquiries and event records as long as we need them to respond to you, deliver your event, and meet business, tax, and legal record-keeping needs, then delete or anonymize them. Hosting logs are kept by Vercel on its own schedule. Google Analytics data is kept in our Analytics account for a limited period (no more than 14 months) and then deleted automatically. Your cookie choice expires after 12 months.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you by text or email. Contact us using the details below and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. Some records may have to be kept for legal or accounting reasons. People in some states and countries have additional legal rights; we’re glad to honor reasonable requests from anyone. We won’t treat you differently for making one.
7. Security
We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or storage is completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive details (such as full payment card numbers) by email or text.
8. Children
This site is for adults planning events. It isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us personal information, tell us and we’ll delete it.
9. Where information is processed
We’re based in Hawaiʻi, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new “last updated” date. If a change affects the cookies we use, we’ll ask for your choice again.
