These terms apply to your use of noobentertainment.com (the “site”), operated by NooB Entertainment (“NooB,” “we,” “us”), a DJ, emcee, photo booth, and lighting company serving Hawaiʻi. By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
These terms cover the website only. Your event services are covered by the separate written agreement we sign with you (see section 3), and how we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
1. What the site is for
The site describes our services, shares pricing and photos, and lets you ask about your date. It’s for people planning events and is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.
2. Pricing, packages, and estimates
- Package prices and the estimate on our home page are for planning. They are not an offer or a final quote.
- À la carte services carry a service fee as published on the Price page. Final pricing, fees, taxes, travel, and add-ons are confirmed in your written agreement.
- Services, packages, photos, and prices may change without notice, and we try to keep the site accurate but can’t promise it has no mistakes.
3. Inquiries and bookings
- An inquiry does not reserve your date. Sending a form, text, call, or email only starts a conversation. Availability isn’t held until we both sign the written agreement and any retainer it requires is paid.
- The agreement, sent and signed through HoneyBook, sets the services, price, payment schedule, retainer, and cancellation policy for your event. If it differs from this site, the agreement controls. Our FAQs summarize common questions, including that retainers are non-refundable and that cancellations must be made in writing.
- You agree the information you submit is accurate and that you’re allowed to submit it.
4. Contact by phone, text, and email
When you give us your phone number or email, you agree that we may contact you about your inquiry or booking. Message and data rates may apply to texts. Tell us if you want us to stop texting or emailing you.
5. Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- use the site or our forms for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading, or submit someone else’s details without permission;
- send spam, malware, or automated or bulk submissions, or try to get around our forms’ spam protection;
- probe, scan, overload, or break the security of the site or the services it relies on;
- copy or scrape the site at scale, or frame it inside another site.
We may block access or remove submissions if we think these rules are being broken.
6. Our content and your content
The text, photos, video, logos, name “NooB Entertainment,” and design of this site belong to NooB or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view the site and share a link to it, but you may not copy, modify, or use our content commercially without our written permission. White Space Studio built the site; we own the content shown on it.
If you send us a message, photo, or other material, you give us permission to use it to answer you and to plan your event. We won’t publish it without asking. If you appear in a photo or video on the site and want it removed, contact us and we’ll take it down.
7. Reviews and third-party sites
Our Reviews page quotes reviews that people posted publicly on Google, WeddingWire, and Yelp. They are the reviewers’ own opinions, shown as posted. The site also links to other websites and uses HoneyBook for forms and agreements, with Google reCAPTCHA inside the forms. We don’t control those sites and services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
8. Cookies
Google Analytics and third-party form tools load only if you accept cookies, as explained in the Privacy Policy. You can change your choice any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
9. No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we don’t make promises that it will always be available, error-free, or secure, and we disclaim all implied warranties. This doesn’t change the promises we make about your event in our written agreement.
10. Limit on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, NooB isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site or from content on other sites we link to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, and they don’t limit what we owe you under your event agreement.
11. Hawaiʻi law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, unless the law says otherwise. Disputes about your event are governed by your written agreement.
12. Changes and other terms
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date. Using the site after that means you accept the changes. If any part of these terms isn’t enforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a term, that doesn’t waive it.
